In my opinion the future is in our control besides of 2 parts. The one part is the influence of our environment and the other part is the “way of life” what means that you cannot really plan your life.
You can plan the big events in life but it always comes different than you have planned anyways. I mean, look back in time; before one year have you seen yourself where you are right now? Would you have known that you would be there where you are right now?
You can plan a trip but you cannot plan how it is going to change your life. Maybe you meet the love of your life and will stay in this country or you have an accident on the way to the airport and will be in coma for 2 years- what I want to say with this; this is just how life goes. Yes, we can plan our future but most of the time it comes different than we expected.
Future is a big word and most of the time it is just exciting. I have heard a saying which leads me to think; the future is the place where all the wishes and the good times lay.” Another good quote is” people wait all week for Friday, all year for summer, all life for happiness.” It is true; many people are not happy in the moment, but have hope that in the future everything will be better. The people don’t realize that the “future” is never going to be that beautiful if they don’t start living the present.
So I think the future is in parts in our control but most of the time it comes different than it was planned.
